Not a Love Song
Not a Love Song is the first institutional solo exhibition of the Bosnian-Dutch artist Miloš Trakilović (b. 1989, BA) in Germany. 15 February – 4 May 25 KW Institute

The KW Institute has opened its first exhibition after the renovation of the space, once again striking with the depth and multi-layered nature of its works. The "Not a Love Song" exhibition by artist Miloš Trakilović made a particularly strong impression - his installation 564 Tracks explores the relationship between music, war and historical memory, forcing us to consider how culture can anticipate political catastrophes.

Equally impressive is the work "Antechamber" by Jessica Ekomane, specifically created for the KW loft space, where sound becomes an instrument of time perception: rhythmic patterns create an atmosphere in which the body and the ear engage in a unique process of space awareness.

Also worth mentioning is the particularly relevant work "1992, 2025" by Sung Tieu, which analyzes the consequences of the GDR's migration policy and reveals the hidden mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion in German society. The exhibition as a whole raises pressing questions about the past, present and future, inviting viewers to engage in a deep reflection on reality through art.
